Attendance
Office hours are from 12pm – 8pm, but please refer to your specific programme to find out class the relevant opening and closing time as each programme differs slightly. Madrassah classes begin at 5.30pm – 7.30pm, Hifdh Programme Classes begin at 5pm – 7pm. Our additional classes also run at various times throughout the day.
All lateness must be communicated by phone or email at the earliest opportunity. Students will not be permitted entry if they arrive later than 30 minutes to a lesson without prior notice of at least one hour before the beginning of class.
All late pick-ups must be communicated by phone and email at the earliest opportunity. In the rare case that a parent/guardian will collect their child late we shall incur a fee for additional services which will be £5 for late pickups after 20 minutes. This price will increase by £5 for every 10 minutes thereafter.
Yes, however this must be approved with us prior to the pickup of any child. Moreover, all parents must sign and document their approved persons who may pick up well in advance.

We strongly discourage taking any holidays during term time as this reduces the learning time of students. Every second, minute and hour makes a difference to their academic progress. In addition, we cannot reschedule significant events such as Parents Evenings, Exams, or Events.
Our primary mode of contact shall be through telegram, text message and email. Please ensure you are subscribed to all of our modes of contact.
Education/ Teaching
You may discuss your concerns with the relevant teacher via our designated parental portal or you may call or email the management team and we shall gladly set up a telephone meeting to discuss your concerns.
We advise parents whose children are not fluent in English that our institute educates in the medium of English and students will have to make the extra effort to comprehend the lessons as we don’t provide a ESOL provision or translation service.
The minimum age is 5 years old and the maximum age is 16 years old
The course material within LII incorporates the Safar Academy curriculum and additional material crafted by our management team. Our curriculum enables pupils to develop their fluency in reading the Quran and maintain a solid grasp of Islamic studies. They shall cover the basics from how to pray and make wudhu to the advanced details of fiqh, uloom ul quran, and Islamic history. Additionally students participate in debates, presentation, research and essay writing which enhances their confidence and transferrable skills.
Generally we look to accommodate a maximum of 15 pupils per class but this may stray under or over depending on the demand.
Students are segregated by class once they reach the academic Year 7 (11-12 years old). Prior to this, students from Year 1 – Year 6 are segregated by seating.
4 hours each week of a blend between Quran & Islamic Studies.
We provide 4 or more books within our LII book pack which includes material pertaining to Islamic Studies, Dua and Quran.
All of our teachers/staff are DBS trained and are supervised by the internal management at LII

We have a strict no refund policy. Therefore please read our terms and conditions thoroughly to gain an understanding of our fee policy.

General Questions
– Parents may enquire at the LII office regarding any lost property. We advise all parents to scribe/label their child’s name on their uniform and any personal belongings.
– Yes, however, the commencement of exams shall be at the discretion of the programme instructor. Therefore, please refer to your specific programme for further details.
All food is prohibited due to cleanliness and due to the fact that a number of our students possess diverse food allergies. However on special occasions such as Eid, food may be allowed subsequent to a allergy check and prior authorisation by management.
After the completion of exams, we provide certificates to those who have passed their exams.

– Unfortunately. at the moment we don’t provide online lessons. However this is a project we intend for the future inshallah. At the moment, all of our classes are conducted onsite at our centre.
We have 3 dedicated admission dates which students can enrol in this period. This may be subject to change, however the general admissions for when the academic year has commenced will be in October and January, after this beginner students will only be able to enrol in the start of the next academic year. If you are applying for your child to begin for the next academic year you may apply at any period.
Yes we have an active waiting list. The institute possesses over 500 students, and our waiting list at times reaches the hundreds. Therefore we recommend all parents to complete the admissions process as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Medication/Incidents
Any allergies, medications or prescriptions should be discussed with management at the earliest convenience and we shall accommodate as much as our remit allows. We possess students who suffer from diabetes, severe food allergies, and a number of health complex complications and Inshallah we have a understanding approach to facilitate the learning of all regardless of the condition.
You shall be contacted by the management team who shall inform you of the incident. All management staff are first aid qualified and teachers annually undertake training in first aid, or additional staff training to ensure they are also competent to manage any accidents.
Please refer to your doctor’s advice and only attend the institute when the qualified medical advisor has enabled your child to return to school. If unsure, please let us know and we shall inform of the safest practice.
School Uniform
From our dedicated LII office at our premises.
Students must wear our personalised “LII fleece” which can be purchased at our institute. Boys must wear this with any colour thobe and girls must wear this fleece with any colour abaya or jilbaab.
We discourage wearing all forms of jewellery at the institute due to fear of injury, loss and distraction. Moreover the institute cannot take liability of any loss of property regardless of the value. Therefore we advise parents to prohibit their children to bring any significant valuables to lessons.
Parking Availability
Unfortunately, there is no designated parking for parents at our premise. However their is nearby parking which can be utilised. We ask all parents to respect our neighbours by utilising the appropriate parking space even if it requires walking a few more minutes. This is incumbent on us as Muslims to respect the rights of others especially when accompanied with our young children who look to us as examples.
