I joined the Qaidah class as an adult. My journey has been very enjoyable, I have learnt so much. Qaidah was hard at the beginning but we was all in the same boat … but coming to the lesson every week has made a big difference. I have now completed the Qaidah and will be starting my Tajweed rules. I feel confident that my Quran reading will improve greatly. If you put your mind to it, you will be able to do it. I recommend these classes.

I've found the class informative and very helpful for my growth, our teacher followed our book (the seekers aid) chapter by chapter systematically and then we discussed the subjects in detail as an open Q&A session. I very much enjoyed these classes.

Islamic Studies (Student)

After taking on my Qaidah class. I absolutely wanted to go to the next level. Alhamduililah, LIC proposed the Tajweed a class and I was 100% in. From being able to read a mix of letter together, to being able to read any page from the Quran, this is an achievement. I am so proud of, thanks to my teacher … It was a real challenge at times - especially when Ustadha was picking up on tiny details - but every day of this journey was worth it and so rewarding. Thursdays Qa’idah class was my favourite. We moved through our study book systematically every week, it was easy to follow what we were doing and keep track of the progress also.

I was not good at reading but my teacher, Mashallah who pushed me to read. I would like all of the sisters to attend this class also because it has really pushed me to get one step closer to the level I wanted, which was to read the full Qur’an by next year inshallah. My Ustadha is very good and had assisted me so much. May Allah reward her and the masjid for opening up Quran classes dedicated for sisters.
