Hifdh Programme (Brothers)
– Hifdh Programme classes begin at 7.30pm – 9.30pm,
– Group 1 – Mondays & Wednesdays
– Group 2 – Tuesdays & Fridays
– However for updated times, please refer to your specific programme to find out class the relevant opening and closing time as changes may occur
– Alhamdulilah, all of our teachers have memorised the entire Quran and are under the supervision of Imam Saabir (Head of the Hifdh Programme who possesses Ijazah in 10 Qira’aat of the Quran).
– £450 annually
– Students will be given a revision section and their new memorisations portion each lesson which they will review with the teacher who will guide them in regards to their articulation and Tajweed if necessary.
– A copy of the Quran, moreover all students will be provided with a designated LII Booklet to track their progress.
– To be able to recite the Quran fluently. If unsure, contact us and we shall book you in for an assessment with one of our staff members.

Quran Beginners (Brothers & Sisters)
– £200 annually
– FREE for revert Muslims
– Alhamdulilah, all of our teachers have memorised the entire Quran and are under the supervision of Imam Saabir (Head of the Hifdh Programme who possesses Ijazah in 10 Qira’aat of the Quran).
– Students will be given homework each lesson and will be taught by memorising letters and practicing them via various methods as well as additional activities which will foreground the knowledge learnt.
– All students will be provided with a designated Complete Qaidah which will enable them to practice their knowledge and track their progress.
– All students must be over the age of 16. Students who are at a beginner stage may enter this programme with no prior learning experience.

Tajweed (Brothers & Sisters)
– £200 annually
– Alhamdulilah, all of our teachers have memorised the entire Quran and are under the supervision of Imam Saabir (Head of the Hifdh Programme who possesses Ijazah in 10 Qira’aat of the Quran).
– Students will be given homework each lesson and will be taught the Ahkaam of Tajweed such as Meem Mushaddadah, Rules of Noon Saakin and Tanween, Mudood, Qalqalah, Raa Saakinah, Ikfaa Shafawee and more,
– All students will be provided with a designated Tajweed book which will enable them to practice their knowledge and track their progress.
– All students must be over the age of 16 and have completed the Qaidah level.

Arabic Language Courses (Brothers & Sisters)
– £200 annually
– Alhamdulilah, the majority of our teachers are Imams that possess a Masters in Islamic Studies and have studied in Madinah University for more than 6+ years. In addition our Islamic Studies Department & Arabic Department is headed by Imam Ashraf who possesses A BA from Madinah University, MA in Islamic Studies and a BACP qualified counsellor and a current Imam at the Lewisham Islamic Centre.
– Students will be taught in a classical method which resembles a lecture style format. Students will be expected to take ample notes and revise them adequately. Moreover writing, speaking and comprehension exercises will be facilitated.
– A notebook and depending on the course we shall provide the textbook of the course which may incur a separate fee.
– Students must be 16 years of age or older and generally must be able to read Arabic at a semi-fluent level. For additional requirements please refer to your specific Arabic programme.

Additional Questions
– At the moment, due to logistics and the limited demand we do not provide this service. However we have placed a number of our classes at the same time as the Children’s classes to facilitate parents and children learning simultaneously.
– Our primary mode of contact shall be through telegram, text message and email. Please ensure you are subscribed to all of our modes of contact.
– All lateness must be communicated by phone or email at the earliest opportunity. Students will not be permitted entry if they arrive later than 30 minutes to a lesson without prior notice of at least one hour before the beginning of class.
– All of our classes are segregated by classroom or seating, please refer to your specific programme for more details.
– Please refer to our Term Dates as the calendar may be subjective to changes throughout the calendar year. But our general academic year commences in September and concludes in July
– Students may enquire at the LII office regarding any lost property. We advise all students to scribe/label their name on their uniform and any personal belongings.
– All food is prohibited due to cleanliness and due to the fact that a number of our students possess diverse food allergies.
– Unfortunately. at the moment we don’t provide online lessons. However this is a project we intend for the future inshallah. At the moment, all of our classes are conducted onsite at our centre.
– Yes, however, the commencement of exams shall be at the discretion of the programme instructor. Therefore, please refer to your specific programme for further details.
– After the completion of exams, we provide certificates to those who have passed their exams
– We are currently on working on one-on-one classes for the blind utilising the Braille Mushaf.
– Please refer to our children’s department where we have designated SEN classes
– This may be subject to change, however the general admissions for when the upcoming academic year will be in August for a September start date, after September, beginner students will only be able to enrol in the start of the next academic year. However at the discretion of the teacher, students who wish to join during the academic year may be admitted if they can demonstrate that they can keep up with the classes despite the lessons missed.
– Complete our designated online application form which can be found on our website for your specific programme, or you may pop in and complete a physical form at the Institute. God willing, we intend to get back to you within 7 working days.
