Course Summary

We possess students with a variety of needs, including the following:

  • Communication and Interaction needs,
  • Cognition and Learning
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health
  • Sensory and/or Physical

SEN Students at the LII have a dedicated Qaidah & Islamic Studies curriculum. We have established our curriculum on the notable Safar Academy Series with the hope of facilitating the understanding of the Qur’an and Islamic Studies to all of our SEN learners. The course shall occur 2 days a week, 2 hours each day and shall be supplanted with a number of exercises to complete outside of the classroom e.g. quizzes, writing exercises, vocabulary exercises etc. Moreover, our SEN classes are accompanied with educational videos, practical activities, and personalised support within the classroom.

Days and Time: 

Wednesday – 5:30pm – 7:30pm 

Saturday – 10:30pm – 12:30pm

Frequently Asked Questions

The programme is available for students from Year 1 to Year 6.  Moreover each student’s time in the SEN programme will differ to their varying needs.

We accept all students who are in the primary school level. However all pupils must be assessed by our team before entry. 

It is preferable for the students to possess a ECHP plan however pupils may still enter whilst they are still awaiting a diagnosis result.

We have an collaborative approach at the LII. Therefore we establish an individualised plan and then follow up with a one to one meeting with all parents regarding the personalised assistance and resources we can provide your child/children.
