Programme Overview
Our programme is split into two core components: Quranic and Islamic Studies. Our Islamic studies course is based upon the pure teachings of the book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Last Messenger Muhammed Sallahu Alahi was sallam. A comprehensive range of subjects will be covered under the general headings of: Aqeedah (Islamic Creed), Basic Fiqh (rules) of worship, Islamic History, Morals and Manners, Tafsir (explanation) of the Quran and Athhkar (daily prayers of remembrance). Parents and students will be informed, in advance, of the termly subject areas that the curriculum will address. Once a term students will be expected to sit an exam to demonstrate their knowledge.
The Quran programme consists of two strands: learning how to read the Quran, and memorising the book of Allah. Both strands of learning will be split according to specific attainment targets; students can expect a certificate upon the completion of each level, and in particularly exceptional cases prizes or even a mention in the newsletter.
